One of the main reasons that it is hard to cut down on cigarettes is trying to figure out how long you should wait in between cigarettes in order to make a certain amount last the day.
SmokeTrack has a great tool for calculating the time intervals needed to make a certain amount of cigarettes last. It also has the option to turn on the home screen badge. To get to these two settings that SmokeTrack has, hit the little "i" (info) button in the upper right hand corner of your screen. This will flip your
screen around so you can access the interval calculator.
Home Screen Badge:
The home screen badge is a little red circle on the application's icon on your device's home screen. SmokeTrack gives you the option to turn this feature on when you access the settings area. If you were to turn this on, that little red circle will display the amount of cigarettes you have smoked so far that day. You won't even have to open the application to see how many you've had.
Calculating Intervals:
The interval calculator is very use to use. First, select the text box next to "Day Started" so it becomes highlighted. Once it has the blue border around it, use the time wheel at the bottom of the screen to set when your day starts. Once you have the time you are looking for entered in the text box next to day started, do the same thing for "Day Finished" (highlight text box next to it and set the time your day will end).
Once you have each time period set (day starts and day ends), select the "Cigs Allocated" field. A keyboard will present itself and you can enter in how many cigarettes you will allow yourself to smoke for the time period you defined above. Then hit "Go" on the keyboard and SmokeTrack will perform the calculation and then notify you how long you should wait in between cigarettes to make them last throughout the day.
