Favorites

 

The favorites section of iWatchr enables you to add foods that you may use often. It can be a pain to have to enter the same foods day after day. Favorites makes it so much easier!! All you have to do is create a favorite once and everytime you want to log that particular item, it can be done in one push of the button.

  To start using Favorites, select the Favorites icon at the top of the Details Screen (its the star icon). To enter a favorite into the system simply push the "+" (add) button in the lower right of the screen. This will take you to the editing view where you can name your favorite and assign it a value as well as whether or not the favorite is an exercise for activity logging. Once you have given it a name and assigned a value, hit the save button to store the favorite. It will now be accessible in the favorites screen. 

In that favorites screen, all your favorites are listed and grouped alphabetically for quicker access to them. Along the right side of the screen is an alphabet index which, when touched, allows you to jump right to a particular letter and all your favorites that start with that letter. All your activity favorites are easily recognizable with their green text and light green background. To start logging foods using the favorites feature, simply find the favorite you want to log and select it. The ensuing popup will have different choices for which meal you want to add that food to...breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks or activity as well as how many servings. You will notice that you can delete or edit your favorite from this popup window as well.

You can also log multiple favorites at once from the favorites screen. Just select "Log Multiple" at the bottom and your favorites list will enter multiple mode where you can select multiples at once, choose which meal to send them to and then log them.
