Settings

iWatchr has alot of settings to adjust to your liking. Anywhere from changing the home screen badge to using decimal displays to editing the calculator formulas, there really isn't much you would want to do that iWatchr doesn't allow with a quick change.

LOG:

**Setup Daily Intake.....  This setting is for customizing your daily intake tracker so you add/remove/rename up to 7 items.

**Extra Score Type.... Use this to determine how you want the extra weekly to work. You can either make this "US" or "Non-US".

The US type is an "overflow" type feature in which you allow yourself a certain amount of points a week besides your normal allowed daily points. The way it works is if you were to go over your daily allowance on certain days, iWatchr will start to draw from this "extra" allowance on those days. If you were to go over one day, you can replenish the extra allowed by earning "bonus" exercise points BUT only for the same day that the exercise was done. For example, say your daily was 20 and your extra weekly was 35. One day you used 25 points so now the extra is 30. If you were to gain exercise points that same day you went over then they could be put back onto your weekly points. So if you gained 3 exercise points, your extra weekly would then be 33. It only goes back if it all happened the same day. If you had gone over (25) but didn't exercise until the next day then those 3 exercise points would NOT go back. Your extra weekly would remain at 30.

The Non-US type is a "banking" type way of using extra points. With this type there is no extra weekly points on top of your daily but instead any unused daily or exercise points left over from each day are carried over day to day. Once a new week resets this number is reset to zero.

**Resets... This is where you determine when the extra score feature will do it's automatic reset. Simply choose which day of the week you want it to reset.

**Daily Score Allowed.... This is where you enter how many points per day you are allowing yourself. You will need to enter this in if you want the app to display "total left". You will also need this if you want the "extra score" (weekly points) to work correctly.

**Extra Score Allowed.... This is the allowed "extra" points you are allowing yourself. Make sure you have a number entered in here so the "extra score" feature can work correctly. This number is only used if extra score type is set to US.

CALCULATOR:

**Setup Custom Calculator.... This option is for setting up your custom calculator if you are utilizing it. Go to the Calculator link above for more detailed instructions on setting it up.

**Quick Calc.... This option allows you to choose which calculator you want to use when utilizing the quick calc option when entering a new item in the daily logs.

**Body Weight.... This option allows you to choose how you enter your body weight into the bonus calculator when trying to calculate bonus exercise points. You can use either pounds (lbs.) or kilograms (kgs.).

MISCELLANEOUS:

**Home Screen Badge..... This is the setting for turning on/off the home screen badge notification. This is the little red circle with a number in it on iWatchr's icon on your device's home screen. This badge, when on, can either display total points used for "today" or total points remaining for "today".  To decide which one for it to display, change the "Home Screen Display..." setting. (**Important thing to remember... As per Apple, this badge can only display positive numbers not negative so if you have the "display" setting to "total left" and you go over your daily allowance for that day, the badge will not display anything**).

**Home Screen Display.... This determines what you want to display on the home screen badge.

**Use Decimals.... Turn this on to have your point calculations in the calculator show tenths of a point (i.e. '5.7'). If you are using the european version of the calculator, the total gets rounded off to the nearest half point. The American version doesn't do this. This also will display decimals in your daily logs for all your point totals.
