The favorites section of iWatchr enables you to add foods that you may use often. It can be a pain to have to enter the same foods day after day. Favorites makes it so much easier!! All you have to do is create a favorite once and everytime you want to log that particular item, it can be done in one push of the button.
To start using Favorites, select the "Favorites" tab at the bottom of the screen. To enter a favorite into the system simply push the "+" (add) button in the upper right of the screen. This
will take you to the editing view where you can name your favorite and assign it a value. (It is a similar screeen to where you enter foods manually in the "details" view of all your logs). Once you have given it a name and assigned a value, hit the save button to store the favorite. It will now be accessible in the main favorites screen.
In that favorites main screen, all your favorites are listed and grouped alphabetically for quicker access to them. Along the right side of the screen is an alphabet index which, when touched, allows you to jump right to a particular letter and all your favorites that start with that letter. To start logging foods using the favorites feature, simply find the favorite you want to log and hit the "Log It" button next to it and you will then be asked which meal you want to add that food to...breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks. After you select the meal, then select which day and iWatchr then logs the food for you. If you were to go back into your daily log you will see the newly added entry.
You can also delete favorites from iWatchr if you want. This works the same way as deleting individual logs from the "History" section. Put the favorites list into edit mode by pushing the edit button in the upper left of the screen to be able to delete them. You can also edit your favorites in edit mode by selecting the actual favorite, not the "Log It" button.
